Once your Business Facebook Page is set up, the next thing to do, is to get it noticed. Here are the top 5 ways to get your Facebook page noticed.
- ‘Likes’ = ‘Likes’
Here at Red Calabash our first priority is to think of different ways to get you those first ‘Likes’, making other people aware of your page. ( The motivation behind getting ‘Likes’ for your page, is that once people do – then your posts will appear on that Facebook users news feed.)
Next use the “Tell Your fans” feature on Facebook, this allows you to bring in a contact file or get your contacts from your email, this is great for when your page is brand new and can tell the people you know. You can also invite your employees to Like the page like this- this way their friends and families will see your page and possibly like it themselves (especially if they love your product or service.)
- Promote your page
The next approach we can take is to promote the page on your businesses website using Social Plugins. This will get some of your current customers to visit your Facebook page.
- Buy Adverts
Buying a Facebook ad is a great way to get visitors to your page, and you don’t have to spend a lot either, as you can –
” choose between a daily or a lifetime budget, as well as a cost per thousand impressions bid (CPM) or cost per click bid (CPC). You’ll only pay for the clicks or impressions you receive, up to the amount you set for your budget.” Facebook
- Create Interesting Content
One of the most important factors is to make sure the content is interesting and that there is high quality marketing. Don’t always think about advertising your service, try using eye-catching images or funny jokes, keep them informed but also entertained – otherwise your users might “unlike” you.
- Use Your Blog
If you have a blog – then use it! Write a blog post about your new Facebook page, and tell your readers why they will benefit from joining your page. Next place a Fan Page Widget on your blog, many people may not know about your Facebook page, so placing a widget will give that info ( and easy access) to your Facebook Page.
After a while you will have more visitors, generate more and more likes, and you will have created a great Fan base!
